Earlier this month, the Ankara Bazaar made it’s way back to Philadelphia. Following it’s previous presentations in Washington D.C., New York and of course Philly, the bazaar made its way back to the city of brotherly love for another event.

Designers from around the city brought out their fashions to showcase their new designs and collections. From bags and jewelry to clothes and more, these designers came to slay.

I myself wore a patterned and very comfortable, loose fitting suit with kimono top and patterned jogger style pants. Topped off with a waist belt and heels from Zara.

Outside of the fashions were all of the essential products needed to not only keep your style on point, but also make sure your hair and skin are well taken care of well.

While we love seeing all of the amazing designers here in Philly, the Ankara Bazaar is expanding and tapping into the African fashions and style in Atlanta and L.A. The events are designed to cater to local and small business owners and give them a platform to expand their reach and share their products with new audiences. Check out their website for more photos and upcoming events.

Sounds for the evening were provided by DJLadyFX who kept the crowd moving and shaking. As a West Indian myself, I was jamming to the soca and afrobeats.
